INGILIZCE SUBJECT QUESTIONS – ÖZNE SORULARI – TÜRKÇE KONU ANLATIMLARI

Çoğu soru çeşidi nesne soruları şeklindedir.

Most questions are object questions, that is, they ask about an object.

eg. Where do you live? Where have you been? Why are you studying English?
(Örnek: Nerede yaşıyorsun? Neredeydin? Neden İngilizce çalışıyorsun?)

However, there are also subject questions which we use to ask about a subject.
(Aynı zamanda, özne hakkında sorular soran “özne sorularıda” vardır.)

These questions are asked using Who? What? or Which?
(Bu sorular “Who? What? ve Which?” kullanılarak sorulur.)

For example: (Örneğin:)

Who directed the film? NOT Who did direct the film? (Filmi kim yönetti?)

What happened yesterday? NOT What did happen yesterday? (Dün ne oldu?)

Which car costs the most? NOT Which car does cost the most? (Arabalardan hangisi en çok tutuyor?)

NB: Subject questions have the same word order as positive sentences.
(Not: Özne soruları olumlu cümleler ile aynı cümle yapısına sahiptir.)

We don’t use auxiliary verbs in subject questions.
(Özne sorularında “yardımcı fiil” (auxiliary verb) kullanılmaz.)
